Eat Before You Treat: Perfect for a Classroom Party

My sweet friend loves to have the kids over before the trick or treating begins and I think it's a fabulous idea.  Halloween night is so hectic that dinner becomes an afterthought, and chocolate candy bars quickly become my main dinner course.  If there's any candy left after the trick-or-treaters have come and gone, then watch out! That's course number two! While this menu does feature a few fun sweet treats, we also added some healthy snacks such as sweet potato chips and fruit.
This table also works great for the classroom. Many schools have strict rules against bringing homemade goodies for classroom parties, which can eliminate all those super cute treats you've been dying to make.  All these goodies were bought prepackaged and assembled on site. Teachers, this will take just minutes to set up.

Menu:
Sweet potato chips
White cheddar popcorn with gummy worms
Ghost marshmallow pops (simply insert brightly striped paper straws)
Mandarin oranges (faces were drawn using a permanent marker)
Witch's brooms (chocolate peanut butter cups and pretzel sticks)
Prepackaged sliced apples
Caramel dip
Monster juice boxes (find the tutorial here)

Get the Look:
Vinyl Orange Tablecloth
Platters (black chargers from Target)
Polka Dot display boxes (made using polka dot wrapping paper and empty boxes)
Clear plastic trifle bowl and candy containers (Party City)
Black and ivory pumpkins (Michaels)
Black snack cups (made using Dollar Tree cups and festive stickers)
Pumpkin baking cups & colorful polka dot snack cups (Wal-mart)
Monster juice boxes (made using card stock, self adhesive wiggly eyes, and fun straws)
Candle holders and candles (wrapped card stock around candles for a fun matching "ribbon")
Circle Garland (find the tutorial here)
Owl wall hanging (Wal-Mart)
