Finding Inspiration

When planning an event, the first step for me is always finding inspiration.  Sometimes, I'm inspired before an event even presents itself.  Inspiration can come from anywhere; my obsession with polka dots, the color combination from a sundress, a beloved children's book, or the pattern on a pillow.  A giraffe I bought for my son's nursery easily became the theme for a safari baby shower.  I fell head over heels for this little cutie and the color combination.  So take a look at your surroundings.  What inspires you?
