Post Thanksgiving and Roll Tide

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving.  We had a wonderful night with close friends.  When your thousands of miles away from family, it's nice to have your military "family" close by to share the holidays.  As I said last week, there's always one mishap.  At least I didn't lose a pie from the roof of my car again (learned that lesson).  Instead, I forgot the eggs in the stuffing.  Overall, it could have been much worse.  The texture wasn't quite the same but it was still edible.  Considering this was the first Thanksgiving without my mother-in-law's guidance (although I did have to call and get some gravy 101), I'd say it all went pretty well.
We spent most of today being fairly lazy and trying to avoid Black Friday traffic as much as possible.  Curiosity did get the best of me though, so I ventured out to the craft store for some last minute Christmas supplies.  I usually avoid the hard to find parking, long lines, and crowds of Black Friday because the anxiety just isn't worth the extra savings.  I left the store, exhausted from the madness, and headed straight home for turkey sandwiches and a much deserved nap.  That's right a nap! Haven't had one of those in.... well, I can't exactly remember the last time I took a good nap.  I'm not typically a good "napper".  My mind is normally running a mile a minute, making it impossible to shut down and relax long enough to fall asleep.  Today, however, was the exception and it was amazing.
Tomorrow, we'll be spending the afternoon watching the Iron Bowl.  Roll Tide!!  Alabama has had another great year but so has our rival, so this should be an exciting game.
How was your post Thanksgiving day?  Anyone have special football plans for this weekend?
